Zenith Successfully Retains ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 Certification

We are pleased to announce that Zenith has successfully retained both our ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 14001 Environmental Management certifications.

Preparing for ISO 14001:2026
A revised edition of the ISO 14001 standard, ISO 14001:2026, was released earlier this year. Although organisations have a three-year transition period to adopt the updated standard, Zenith has already begun reviewing and implementing the new requirements to ensure we remain ahead of the changes before our next recertification.
Key updates within the new edition include:
• A new clause dedicated to change management, supporting proactive and risk-based decision making.
• Enhanced requirements for managing externally provided products, services and processes across increasingly complex supply chains.
• Clearer guidance for internal audits and management reviews, providing greater consistency and effectiveness.
• Simplified continual improvement requirements to improve clarity and encourage ongoing performance improvements.
• A refined structure that makes the standard easier to navigate and implement.
• Greater emphasis on leadership, organisational culture and employee engagement in environmental management.
• Improved guidance on life cycle thinking together with the management of environmental risks and opportunities.
By beginning this transition early, we are ensuring our environmental management systems continue to meet best practice and remain aligned with the latest international standards.
Looking Ahead
ISO 9001 is also expected to receive an updated edition later this year. As with every revision to internationally recognised management standards, Zenith will review the changes and implement any necessary improvements to ensure our systems continue to meet evolving best practice.
