Zenith and Willmott Dixon donate a team to help community garden project

A team from Zenith Contractors and Willmott Dixon recently donated their time to help Midland Heart housing organisation move a shed from one of their void properties to the Bedworth Community Garden project.

Midland Heart is a leading housing, care and support organisation dedicated to helping people with complex needs lead independent lives through supported housing schemes and services. They recently asked contract cleaning company, Zenith, and property services company, Willmott Dixon, to assist with moving a shed from one of their void properties to the Bedworth Community Gardens horticultural therapy centre.

Both companies were happy to help and provided a team of willing volunteers, along with a truck supplied by Zenith, to facilitate the shed move from a void property in the Coventry area to community gardens located at the Miners’ Welfare Park in Bedworth.

Bedworth Community Gardens is operated by People in Action, a registered charity committed to helping around 350 people live at home within the community. The gardens provide horticultural therapy, enabling attendees to be part of a sustainable project that enhances their local community. The addition of a purpose-built café and training centre has recently transformed the gardens, and they can now boast a shed!

The team, comprising volunteers from Zenith and Willmott Dixon, is pictured relocating the shed. Once again, the story highlights Zenith’s commitment to getting the job done quickly and efficiently, and always going the extra mile, with a smile!
