Zenith Sponsors Two Clients Supporting Charities

Zenith Contractors Ltd is sponsoring two of their clients who are supporting charities, as a means of giving something back to the community and helping worthwhile causes.

Firstly, Zenith is sponsoring Balwant Singh from Orbit Housing, a housing association that manages over 16,500 properties for families, couples, singles and older people across the Midlands. On 16th and 17th July, Bal as he is known completed the 130-mile Annual Birmingham to London Charity Bike organised by SACA, a volunteer charity organisation that supports local and national children’s charities.

Over the last 31 years, the ride has raised over £450,000 for different children’s charities. This year, the money raised will be used to fund a ‘home from home’, in association with Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, for families of children and young adults receiving cancer treatment.

Secondly, Zenith is donating money to Willmott Dixon Partnerships, one of the UK’s leading construction and regeneration specialists, who every year supports charitable causes by asking clients and suppliers for help. This year, WDP is supporting two charities, Herts Young Homeless, an independent charity supporting vulnerable people in Hertfordshire, and Dekamile, a small charity dedicated to improving the lives of the community living in Agome Sevah, a remote village in Togo, West Africa.

Over the last four years, WDP has supported Dekamile, assisting in the building of a clinic and an academy, as well as giving residents access to clean water and solar power. This year, the aim is to build an accommodation block for students and teachers visiting the academy.
