Zenith Golf Day 2017 Results
Zenith hosted their annual Golf Day on 25th August 2017 at Nuneaton Golf Club.
The weather was fantastic and it was a day of setting records for this long-running event. There was a fantastic individual score of 67 gross for the Zenith Trophy, which is the best gross score to be recorded in the 18 years we have run the golf day. Congratulations to Stephen Harriman for this superb knock.
There were also 26 teams of 3, which is the highest number of entries, setting another record, and the Brian Hancox Memorial team event went to Federal Mogul Sintered Products Team Beasties led by Garry Adams.
By far the biggest success of the day was the fantastic donation total given by all of those attending this year. A total of £1,000 was raised on the day, another record, which is to be shared between the two charities chosen by the current Captain John Mayne for The Mary Ann Evans Hospice and Lady Captain Sharon Ellis for Ovarian Cancer.
Zenith would like to sincerely thank all of those who took part and for all of the generous donations made and we look forward to making next year’s event even better !!
