Zenith Complete 4th Project for EDS Couriers
Based in Cannock, Staffordshire, EDS Couriers is a family run business that has specialised in delivering parcels, packages and pallets to destinations worldwide for over 50 years.
As the fourth project completed for owner Andy Evans, Zenith Refitment have built a strong relationship with EDS based on trust and the confidence to get the job done on time, within budget and to a high standard.
The works entailed a full, deep clean and re-decoration programme of the factory and offices in Fenton, Stoke on Trent , which EDS had recently acquired to be their latest depot. This required high-level work which Zenith are fully trained to use access machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
Repairs to the roof lining panels were undertaken first then a complete redecoration of all factory roof linings, steels, walls and concrete floors. Zenith Small Works division have also undertaken a major refurbishment programme at this site, creating a new canteen area, new toilet facilities, and installing a new heating system.
The project was completed on time, beginning in January 2018 and being completed in March 2018, throughout one of the worst UK winters recorded, with plummeting temperatures and severe snowfall. Zenith were determined to overcome these obstacles and not let them fall behind schedule.
The factory was transformed from a dark, greasy, and overused property, to a light, practical, modern looking factory that lets in plenty of natural light.
