Case study – creating an open-plan area
Case in point is a recent small refurbishment project we undertook for one of our regular customers based in Oxford. The job was to open up a closed-off section of the office floor, creating an open-plan arrangement. This involved dismantling the existing glass partition and cutting out the door frame, making good the plasterboard bulkhead and finishing with a white trim.
The job was completed within one day and carried out at short notice from the client. Overall, the project cost just a little over £1,000, which included labour, materials and the safe disposal of waste. We are happy to say the client was delighted with the result, which provided greater functionality for the office floor and created the appearance of greater space, with a fresh, clean finish.
